On Saturday, February 22 we’ll be taking over the Chain of Lakes parkrun.
We aim to fill all volunteer positions and have our strongest showing of runners and walkers to date.
What is parkrun? It’s a free timed 5k held every Saturday at 9:00 am on the Chain of Lakes Trail, starting just beside the Art of Stone at 130 Chain Lake Drive, Halifax. Worldwide, parkun has over 1,400 locations in twenty-two countries across five continents, promoting healthy and active living through a weekly timed 5k run.
Since the first Chain of Lakes parkrun on March 16, 2019, the BLT Runners have quickly grown to the 3rd largest parkrun club in Canada. We’re calling on all members to help us push to #2 in Canada by participating.
